Responsibilities:
- Define, own and evolve enterprise-grade data architectures that are scalable, sustainable and aligned with client objectives.
- Lead design of cloud-native data platforms, semantic layers, integration patterns and data models across Azure/GCP/AWS.
- Establish governance standards, modelling principles, reference architectures and reusable components.
- Act as a trusted technical partner to clients: shape data strategy, advise senior stakeholders and articulate architecture decisions.
- Create and enforce architectural guidelines, blueprints and testing standards to ensure consistent delivery quality.
- Stay current with emerging platform technologies and drive innovation across engineering teams.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience delivering data architectures in large-scale enterprise or transformation programmes.
- Proven expertise designing cloud-native platforms on Azure, GCP or AWS and strong knowledge of data modelling (Kimball, 3NF, Data Vault).
- Familiarity with analytics engineering tools and approaches (DBT), medallion architectures, metadata management and CI/CD.
- Experience with tooling such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Airflow, MS Fabric and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Strong communication skills, ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams; consultancy or domain experience (financial services, healthcare, retail) is advantageous.
