About the role
Responsibilities:
- Co-own the Android codebase, toolchain, and development process for the IVION Go app.
- Drive architecture decisions and set standards for code quality, testing, and reviews.
- Build spatially aware user experiences using mapping, visual positioning, and digital twins.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-platform engineers to deliver features.
- Implement robust testing (TDD/BDD), CI/CD pipelines, and mobile-specific monitoring.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Android development experience with deep Kotlin expertise (Coroutines, Flow).
- Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and core Jetpack libraries (Room, Lifecycle, ViewModel).
- Knowledge of networking and integration libraries (Retrofit) and DI (Koin or similar).
- Proven practice in TDD/BDD, mobile testing (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins).
- Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns) and full SDLC ownership.
- Experience with agentic AI coding workflows and optimizing AI-assisted development.
- ARCore, game engine or 3D rendering experience is a strong plus.
