About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and ship reliable backend systems and scalable data pipelines that power Deducta.
- Work directly with customers to understand data problems and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build ingestion, transformation and AI pipelines to turn fragmented enterprise spend data into trusted datasets.
- Create internal tools and models to improve data quality, enrichment and downstream product features.
- Own features end-to-end: architecture, trade-offs, performance, testing, deployment and reliability.
- Push applied AI forward across the platform and improve developer workflows and monitoring.
Requirements:
- Senior-level backend experience (5+ years) building data-intensive, production services and pipelines.
- Strong architectural judgment, system design skills and experience with scalable ETL/data ingestion systems.
- Practical experience with applied AI or ML pipelines, data modeling and productionizing models.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, observability, testing, CI/CD and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers, product and cross-functional teams.
- Track record of owning projects from investigation through production and managing technical debt.
