About the role
Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of quarterly goals: guide engineers through ambiguity, define milestones and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with product, design and analytics during ideation to surface technical constraints and trade-offs.
- Identify and drive improvements to projects, processes and technology; proactively surface risks and solutions.
- Maintain operational ownership: create and monitor metrics, support on-call rotations and incident response.
- Raise engineering quality: set code-review and design standards, write documentation and share learnings through talks.
- Mentor and develop teammates, provide feedback and support hiring and growth activities.
Requirements:
- 4+ years building and architecting mobile and web applications; experience with declarative UI frameworks (React Native and React/Vue).
- Proficiency in backend development using Python or Kotlin and experience launching backend systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to partner across product, design and analytics.
- Proven ability to define a technical plan and deliver significant features at scale.
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and maintaining production reliability.
- Product-oriented mindset and experience working in agile teams with measurable impact.
