About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, evolve and operate a scalable Continuous Delivery (CD) ecosystem with Spinnaker as a core component.
- Build automation, reusable pipeline tooling and programmatic integrations to enable safe, repeatable deployments.
- Integrate the CD platform with platform engineering, observability and security controls to support company-wide deployment needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt CD practices, improve deployment reliability and reduce manual operational steps.
- Monitor platform availability, run capacity/load testing and iterate on performance, security and usability.

Requirements:
- Hands-on Java software engineering experience with strong knowledge of Spring Boot and SDLC best practices.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with microservices architectures, service mesh concepts and CI/CD tooling; Spinnaker experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience implementing automation within pipelines, and working with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Strong collaboration skills, experience building shared infrastructure at scale, and a data-driven approach to platform decisions.

Responsibilities

Design and operate a comprehensive Continuous Delivery ecosystem using Spinnaker to enable safe and scalable code deployment. Collaborate with platform engineering and other teams to evolve the CD platform and shift the organization toward a CD paradigm.

Requires a hands-on Java engineer with strong experience in Spring Boot, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and container orchestration like Kubernetes. Candidates should have a background in building mission-critical shared infrastructure and implementing automation within pipelines.
