Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain platform-level tooling and frameworks used by web and mobile product teams (shared component libraries, SSR, build tooling).
- Lead migration efforts (e.g., Next.js adoption) and expand React Native usage across the codebase while ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Author and maintain cross-platform, hybrid-first components that work on web and React Native.
- Define and evangelize technical standards, testing practices, and observability patterns across the engineering organisation.
- Improve the design-to-engineering handoff, raise code quality, and reduce friction in delivery pipelines.
- Mentor and coach engineers, contribute to the technical roadmap, and drive platform decisions without a dedicated PM.

Requirements:
- 7+ years professional software development experience with deep expertise in React and React Native.
- Strong experience building and maintaining reusable frontend design systems and component libraries.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, SSR architecture, and large-scale migrations across broad codebases.
- Rigorous automated testing mindset (React Testing Library) and commitment to observability, monitoring, and logging.
- Proven ability to define practical technical standards and to mentor other engineers effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-shipping environment (frequent small releases) and balancing polish vs. shipping, with hybrid presence in Barcelona (office days as specified).
