Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain backend services for repayment scheduling using Python or Kotlin.
- Deliver well-tested, readable and maintainable code that integrates with multiple services and data stores.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements, trade-offs and rollout plans.
- Participate in on-call rotation to respond to incidents and ensure reliability of payment schedules.
- Contribute to team growth through code reviews, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Professional or internship experience building backend systems using Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with distributed systems fundamentals and technologies such as AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
- Experience decomposing business scenarios into multi-component solutions and writing well-tested code.
- Comfortable navigating large codebases, debugging others' code and providing constructive code review feedback.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed European team (overlapping hours with Poland/Spain).
