Responsibilities:
- Lead Furnishing Engineering: hire, mentor and grow a team responsible for credit reporting pipelines and services.
- Set technical direction and execution for ETL/data pipelines, platform services and reliability controls.
- Own metrics (accuracy, timeliness, completeness, incident rates) and drive multi-quarter reliability improvements.
- Dive deep into pipeline architecture, data quality sources, failure modes and performance bottlenecks.
- Partner with Product, Compliance/Legal, Analytics and cross-functional engineering teams to ship compliant, auditable solutions.
- Run design reviews, set pragmatic standards, and participate in on-call rotation to maintain production reliability.

Requirements:
- 7+ years as a software engineer and 2+ years in an engineering manager role with people and delivery ownership.
- Strong backend system design skills and experience building and operating data/ETL pipelines at scale.
- Proven track record growing and leading high-performing engineering teams and improving operational reliability.
- Excellent cross-team communication, technical judgment and ability to balance compliance, auditability and customer impact.
- Familiarity with loans lifecycle and credit reporting is a plus; must be comfortable with on-call responsibilities.
