About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own development and operations of a tier‑0 orchestration service (Temporal) on Salesforce infrastructure.
- Design, build and deploy backend APIs and workflow workers; integrate with Hyperforce and public cloud environments.
- Drive scalability and high availability: identify risks, implement safeguards and proactively prevent reliability regressions.
- Operate and improve CI/CD, observability, monitoring and incident response for the service.
- Collaborate with product, platform and engineering teams to onboard customers and evolve the platform for broader use.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience and degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong OO fundamentals, concurrency, data structures and algorithms; proficiency in Go or Java.
- Experience building REST/gRPC APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL datastores.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and deployment tooling (Spinnaker or similar).
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and operating large-scale, highly available services.
- Practice with Agile, test-driven development and clear oral/written communication.
