About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain scalable features for international mid-market restaurant customers.
- Deliver end-to-end: design, implement, rollout, monitor and iterate on shipped features.
- Collaborate with Product, Design and other engineers; mentor and uplift less experienced teammates.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to improve productivity and explore agent-based workflows.
- Maintain high technical standards: code quality, testing, observability and scalable architecture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years backend or full-stack engineering experience with a track record of shipping impactful products.
- Ability to read and integrate with frontend code and work across the stack when needed.
- Strong software fundamentals: clean code, unit testing, CI practices and pragmatic engineering judgment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, agile delivery and incremental shipping.
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and collaborative communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Growth mindset and willingness to mentor others and expand ownership over time.
