Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive tests for backend systems: APIs, services and DB interactions.
- Validate REST APIs and contracts using Postman/Swagger and automated test frameworks.
- Verify PostgreSQL queries, migrations and data integrity under typical and edge-case conditions.
- Build and maintain automated test suites and CI-integrated testing workflows.
- Review code changes for test coverage and reliability; raise issues early in PRs.
- Track and report defects, test cases and results using TestRail or similar tools.
- Partner with developers and product teams to improve observability and prevent regressions.

Requirements:
- ~2–3 years in backend QA, testing or development-in-test roles.
- Practical experience with Node.js and TypeScript backend stacks.
- Solid SQL knowledge, especially PostgreSQL, and experience validating complex queries.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and test management systems.
- Hands-on experience writing automated tests and integrating them into CI pipelines.
- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
