Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans for backend services: APIs, integrations and database operations.
- Validate REST APIs and contract behavior using Postman/Swagger and automated test suites.
- Verify data integrity, queries and migrations in PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.
- Build and maintain automated tests and CI-integrated test runs for backend code.
- Review pull requests for test coverage, edge cases and reliability concerns.
- Log, track and communicate defects and test results using TestRail or equivalent.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve test strategy and overall system quality.

Requirements:
- ~2–3 years in backend testing, QA or development-in-test roles.
- Practical experience with Node.js and TypeScript in backend environments.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating PostgreSQL data and queries.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and test management systems (TestRail).
- Experience writing automated tests and integrating them into CI pipelines.
- Good problem-solving, communication skills and attention to detail.
