Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Kubernetes controllers, operators and controllers in Golang.
- Implement automation for provisioning VMs, networking, storage, firewall rules and load balancers to run customer clusters.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, ArgoCD workflows and Kubernetes-native deployment patterns.
- Troubleshoot, reproduce and resolve complex platform issues; participate in regular on-call duty.
- Collaborate with product, system engineers and the agile team to refine backlog and prioritise impactful features.
- Research and propose tooling or architecture improvements; contribute to open-source projects and observability.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience developing Kubernetes operators/controllers in Golang.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, Docker, Helm and GitOps tooling (e.g., ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with cloud concepts: networking, storage, virtualization and VM provisioning.
- Good Linux internals, observability and monitoring experience (Prometheus, Grafana) and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in agile teams and participating in on-call rotations; strong communication and collaboration skills.
