Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake and Structured Streaming.
- Productionize research workflows: optimize for scalability, resilience and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with Global Research and Data Platform teams to align local engineering with Lakehouse architecture.
- Create reusable patterns, templates and onboarding materials for power users and engineers.
- Define and document data engineering best practices; enforce DataOps and observability standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Proven experience building scalable data pipelines with Spark/Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Strong skills in Python and SQL, data modeling and production performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Structured Streaming, Lakehouse concepts and DataOps practices.
- Experience translating experimental/research workflows into reliable production systems.
- Ability to collaborate across regional and platform teams and mentor others.
