Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, Airflow, and dbt; ensure reliable orchestration and deployments.
- Implement data integrations from multiple sources and contribute to a central Operational Data Store with redundant transformations.
- Ensure data quality through validation checks, monitoring, and alerting; own remediation processes and documentation.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to provide clean, well-modeled datasets and support ad-hoc data needs.
- Work with containerization and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes) to operate pipelines in production.
- Optimize storage and query performance on columnar stores (e.g., ClickHouse) and object storage (S3, Iceberg).
- Participate in architecture discussions, tooling selection, and adoption of data-mesh practices where applicable.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a data engineer working with Python and advanced SQL.
- Practical experience with Airflow (or similar orchestrators), Kafka, and distributed processing (Spark) or equivalent.
- Comfortable with Docker and production deployment patterns; Kubernetes experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with dbt, column-store databases (ClickHouse), and object-storage formats (S3, Iceberg) is desirable.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and how web applications produce/consume data.
- Strong documentation, debugging, and cross-team communication skills; experience supporting analytics consumers.
- Willingness to relocate to Limassol and participate in relocation/visa processes (company support provided).
