Senior QA Engineer at FxPro

About the role

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute manual and automated smoke, feature and regression tests across backend services and mobile/web clients.
- Own quality processes: review requirements for testability, maintain test documentation, checklists and e2e suites.
- Stabilize, refactor and extend backend end-to-end tests; build and maintain stubs/mocks for external systems.
- Test integrations across multiple systems (internal services, middleware, external payment/banking platforms) and verify data flows.
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative measures; participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Use AI-assisted tools to optimize test creation and maintenance; collaborate closely with developers and analysts.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of QA experience with hands-on manual and automated testing skills.
- Strong backend testing experience: APIs, microservices, async flows, retries and idempotency.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (JUnit, Appium) and API tools (Postman, Insomnia).
- Experience with proxy tools (Charles, Proxyman), log analysis (Graylog, Kibana) and mocking/test data management.
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants to write and maintain tests and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, attention to detail and a product-oriented mindset.
