Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse architectures to support analytics, reporting and ML.
- Assemble large, complex datasets from multiple sources; create data marts and integrations on request.
- Implement and manage data model changes, entity definitions and lineage in the data catalog.
- Set up, run and monitor data quality checks, alerts and pipeline reliability practices.
- Optimize performance for columnar and MPP systems (Vertica, ClickHouse) and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Collaborate with product, analytics and engineering teams to translate business needs into reliable data solutions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS, Software Engineering or a related technical field; 3+ years in data engineering.
- Strong Python skills and OOP understanding; advanced SQL proficiency.
- Solid knowledge of DWH design, data modeling and experience with columnar/MMP databases.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect) and transformation tools (dbt, sqlmesh).
- Experience or familiarity with Big Data processing and data lakes is a plus.
- Good English communication, attention to detail, documentation skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
