Responsibilities:
- Build and iterate on an AI-native compliance product for Swiss finance & HR backoffices.
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows, prompt/agent patterns, and review processes to minimize technical debt.
- Implement robust end-to-end systems: data pipelines, model integration, testing, monitoring, and deployment.
- Work directly with founders to define product features, software architecture, and engineering culture.
- Blend product engineering, AI engineering, and research: prototype, validate, and productionize automation capabilities.
- Own code quality, observability, and compliance controls required for regulated customers.

Requirements:
- Strong engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems (backend, data pipelines, or model integrations).
- Practical understanding of LLM/AI tooling, evaluation, and risks (hallucinations, drift, safety, technical debt).
- Rapid learner, ownership mindset, outcome-focused, and comfortable with ambiguous problems.
- Good product sense and ability to translate business/regulatory needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborative communicator who can work closely with founders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- B-permit sponsorship available for EU/EFTA residents (we encourage applicants even if unsure whether they qualify).
