Responsibilities:
- Lead incident response across external attacks, insider threats and anomalies across Anthropic’s stack.
- Design, implement and tune detections, playbooks and automation (including LLM-assisted tooling) to accelerate response.
- Build detection and response tooling, prototype detections, and operationalize them with engineering partners.
- Drive post-incident reviews, metrics and continuous improvement of processes and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with security, engineering and research teams; participate in on-call rotation and threat hunting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience handling security incidents, investigations or threat hunting in production environments.
- Familiarity with EDR, SIEM, SOAR or equivalent security tooling and alerting pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud operations (SaaS, containers/Kubernetes) and ability to work with engineering teams.
- Proficiency in a scripting language (Python) and query languages (SQL) for detection development and analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to lead projects with minimal guidance and learn new technologies quickly.
- Preferred: 7+ years in software engineering or detection/IR, experience with Kubernetes at scale, threat intelligence, malware analysis or forensics.
