Responsibilities:
- Build user-facing interfaces for task creation, file/video review, agent action inspection and experimental result comparison.
- Design and implement APIs and PostgreSQL data models for tasks, reviews, files and experiments.
- Connect applications to data pipelines and file storage (e.g., S3) with input validation, permission controls and robust error handling.
- Work closely with researchers and domain experts to refine workflows, investigate bugs and maintain performance as datasets grow.
- Contribute across the stack: frontend React/TypeScript, backend Python/FastAPI, testing and deployment.
Requirements:
- 3+ years building and maintaining applications used by others; 5–10 years preferred.
- Strong TypeScript and React skills, or strong Python with FastAPI; willingness to work full‑stack.
- Experience designing APIs and relational schemas, with PostgreSQL and SQL proficiency.
- Practical testing, debugging and user-feedback incorporation skills.
- Experience with annotation tools, research software or large dataset exploration is valuable.
- Familiarity with AWS/S3, background jobs and frontend testing tools is a plus.
