Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and collaborate with product and engineering to define test coverage and test strategies.
- Execute and automate functional, integration, performance, stress, and sanity tests across backend and integration points.
- Test TCP/socket-based integrations (WebSocket, gRPC, binary protocols) and validate message flows in event-driven/microservice architectures.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear root-cause analysis; verify fixes and regression impact.
- Maintain and monitor test environments, CI pipelines, and test reporting (Allure TestOps) for traceability.
- Contribute to test automation code, participate in code reviews, and improve QA processes and tooling.
- Use SQL and Linux CLI to validate backend data and debug test environments; employ AI-augmented workflows where helpful.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Quality Assurance with strong backend testing experience and 2+ years troubleshooting Java applications.
- Proficiency in Java for developing and maintaining automation tests.
- Solid knowledge of test design techniques, non-functional testing, and automation frameworks; experience with Allure TestOps.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven systems, message brokers, and asynchronous processing.
- Proven experience testing TCP/socket integrations (WebSocket, gRPC); familiarity with binary protocols (FIX) is a plus.
- Good SQL skills and Linux command-line proficiency for diagnostics and environment maintenance.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; English and Russian proficiency preferred.
- Preferred: experience with PostgreSQL/ClickHouse, Kafka, Redis, and domain experience in Forex/trading platforms.
