Full-stack Software Engineer (Product) at Apollo Research

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and ship end-to-end features across the stack: agent hooks/CLI, ingestion pipelines, monitoring UI and Analyzer dashboards.
- Own features from user conversation to production: scope, implement, deploy and iterate based on usage and feedback.
- Turn monitoring research (new monitors, grading strategies, backtests) into production-ready functionality.
- Design and run backend systems that handle high-throughput agent logs with strong observability and reliability.
- Architect data models and storage for both high-write throughput and analytical queries while enforcing retention and security.
- Collaborate with AI Security & Control and customers to ensure tenant isolation, encryption and secure deployments (cloud/on‑prem/local).
- Build integrations with enterprise security stacks (SIEM, alerts, ops workflows) and support different deployment models.

Requirements:
- 4+ years building production software with strong full-stack skills; demonstrable experience in Python and TypeScript.
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end and make product-focused technical decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience designing scalable ingestion pipelines, data models, and observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting).
- Strong understanding of security considerations for sensitive data, tenant isolation and access controls.
- Comfortable working directly with customers on integrations and deployment constraints across cloud and on-prem scenarios.
- High agency, strong communication, and an appetite for rapid iteration in a startup setting.
