Lead Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security at Klaviyo

Responsibilities:
- Define the technical vision and long-term strategy for infrastructure security across the SDLC and platform.
- Design, build and operate cloud-native security services and automation used by engineering teams.
- Own components end-to-end (implementation, production operation, monitoring, incident response).
- Improve availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of security systems and tooling.
- Collaborate with product, platform and security stakeholders on architecture and risk mitigation.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, lead design and code reviews, and contribute to security culture.
- Participate in on-call rotation and drive operational improvements to reduce toil.

Requirements:
- 8+ years building and operating cloud-native distributed systems in production.
- Strong programming experience in Python or Go; comfortable writing production-quality code.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and modern data stores.
- Solid understanding of secure system design, IAM, network security and SDLC-integrated security patterns.
- Experience with observability, incident response and performance troubleshooting.
- Proven technical leadership, mentoring ability and clear communication skills.
