Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across Claims Fraud: set direction for risk decisioning, fraud detection and claims automation.
- Design, build and iterate production ML and Generative AI/LLM systems for claims validation and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with Claims data scientists, product and engineering to align models, data pipelines and workflows for scalable decisioning.
- Identify and advocate for platform and tooling investments (monitoring, feedback loops, QA, model governance) required for end-to-end automation.
- Drive system-level improvements to reduce time-to-production and increase reliability of decisioning systems.
- Set standards for experimentation, statistical rigour, measurement and clear communication of model performance and uncertainty to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience delivering end-to-end ML systems and shipping Generative AI/LLM solutions into production.
- Strong background in risk-based decisioning, fraud detection or claims automation, with system-level thinking.
- Solid statistical and experimentation skills; able to design rigorous evaluation and uncertainty quantification.
- Practical experience with model monitoring, feedback loops and production QA practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence product and engineering roadmaps.
- Experience in regulated financial or insurance environments is advantageous.
