Senior Backend Engineer I Romania relocate to UAE at PixelChain

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and deliver scalable backend systems.
- Own development from architecture and implementation through deployment and monitoring.
- Build and maintain microservices that remain performant as traffic grows.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD practices, and reliable deployment patterns.
- Respond to incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Tune databases and services: indexing, partitioning, sharding, and concurrency improvements.
- Provide code reviews, technical guidance, and contribute to team priorities.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend experience using Java / Java Core.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Strong working knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and other NoSQL stores.
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Skills in performance optimization and system design fundamentals.
- Practical testing experience with JUnit and Mockito; comfortable in Agile workflows.
