Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize ML/AI components of our product with a strong focus on large language models (LLMs).
- Deploy, host, fine-tune and evaluate open-source LLMs for production use.
- Design and implement automation using LLMs to reduce latency and operational cost.
- Improve system performance via GPU orchestration and computational optimization techniques.
- Build and integrate backend services (Flask/FastAPI) and database interactions for ML features.
- Collaborate with data scientists, lead developers, product managers and business owners; present technical concepts and trade-offs.
- Run experiments, measure impact, and deliver projects that produce measurable business value.

Requirements:
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
- 6+ years’ experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in startups or fintech.
- Hands-on experience deploying and fine-tuning LLMs; strong prompt engineering and evaluation skills.
- Advanced Python skills and experience with Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and transformers.
- Familiarity with web frameworks (Flask/FastAPI) and relational DBs (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud infra (AWS), GPU orchestration and performance optimization.
- Experience with TDD/BDD, CI, code reviews and agile development.
- Reinforcement learning experience is a plus; excellent English communication skills.
