About the role

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain in-vehicle ECU software (design, implementation, testing, maintenance).
- Extend and operate monitoring, logging and metrics pipelines to track fleet health.
- Integrate and validate communication protocols (MQTT, SOME/IP) and networking features (TCP/IP, IPv6, VLANs, SOCKS proxy).
- Contribute to SiL/HiL test setups and CI/CD pipelines to ensure repeatable validation and releases.
- Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers and partners to align interfaces, tooling and homologation requirements.
- Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and help define processes that meet automotive standards.

Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong C++ (11/14+) skills and solid experience with Python and Bash for tooling and automation.
- Practical knowledge of in-vehicle communications (MQTT, SOME/IP) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, IPv6, VLANs, proxies).
- Experience with SiL/HiL testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD workflows.
- Background in high-reliability industries (automotive, aerospace, medical) and familiarity with ASPICE / ISO26262 and homologation processes.
- Ability to work independently in agile, cross-functional teams and communicate with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain in-vehicle software for ECUs and improve monitoring systems for the autonomous fleet. Collaborate with partners and vendors to align on software interfaces and provide expert mentorship to the embedded engineering team.

Requires a university degree in Engineering and profound knowledge of C++, Python, and automotive communication protocols. Proven experience in high-reliability industries and familiarity with ASPICE and ISO26262 standards are essential.
