About the role

Responsibilities:
- Develop, productionize, and maintain ML and LLM-based recommendation features that improve personalization and engagement.
- Design and build end-to-end ML pipelines: data ingestion, feature engineering, training, serving, monitoring, and A/B testing.
- Work with large-scale systems (BigQuery, BigTable, Airflow) and make design trade-offs for latency, cost, and maintainability.
- Instrument monitoring, metrics, and experiments to measure real user impact and drive iteration.
- Debug issues across data pipelines, models, and serving infrastructure; contribute to technical strategy and best practices.

Requirements:
- 1–2+ years building ML systems in production and 4+ years of software engineering experience writing production-grade code.
- Strong skills in Python and Scala or Java, with experience building scalable production services.
- Experience deploying ML and LLM-based features to production and integrating retrieval-augmented approaches.
- Strong SQL and large-scale data experience (BigQuery, Spark) and cloud platform familiarity (AWS/GCP).
- Experience setting up monitoring, A/B testing frameworks, and a focus on data quality and correctness.

Responsibilities

You will develop and productionize ML and LLM-based systems to improve user recommendations and engagement. This involves architecting end-to-end data pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a SPECTROGROOVE recommendation infrastructure.

Requirements

Candidates must have 1-2+ years of experience building production ML systems and 4+ years of software engineering experience. Proficiency in Python, Scala or Java, and experience with cloud platforms and distributed data processing are required.
