About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, operate and evolve data center and enterprise network infrastructure (core routing, ACI, ASR, LAN/WAN).
- Implement highly available architectures with BGP failover and millisecond recovery SLAs.
- Harden network security via segmentation, access control, PBR, SIEM and IPS integration.
- Manage and optimize Fortinet firewalls, Cisco ASR, ACI fabrics and related DC technologies.
- Lead automation and IaC efforts using Python, Ansible, Terraform and GitLab CI/CD (templates, pipelines, code reviews).
- Drive platform stabilization, continuous improvement and technical direction for mission-critical customer environments.
- Collaborate with server, storage and security teams on cross-domain projects and deployments.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Several years of hands-on experience in data center and enterprise networking.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, core routing/switching, Cisco ASR/ACI, and Fortinet/Cisco firewall platforms.
- Proven scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and experience with CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with network security controls (IPS, segmentation, PBR) and monitoring integrations.
- Proactive, structured problem-solver with delivery ownership and the ability to lead technical initiatives.
- Fluent in English and Danish; ability to obtain PET security clearance when required.

Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, networking, information technology, or equivalent; several years in a similar networking role; strong scripting/automation and Infrastructure as Code skills; hands-on experience with firewalls and network security (Fortinet and/or Cisco); enterprise routing/switching, LAN/WAN; fluent Danish and English; ability to obtain PET security clearance.
