Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and operate AWS-native platform services (EKS, VPC, IAM, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache) with end-to-end ownership.
- Implement and maintain Terraform modules, Helm charts, and IaC best practices to enable repeatable, secure infrastructure.
- Improve developer experience via CI/CD pipelines, GitLab/Argo CD integrations, progressive delivery, and self-service tooling.
- Drive reliability and observability: Datadog APM, DORA metrics, SLOs, alerts, runbooks and on-call participation.
- Lead architecture and roadmap initiatives, mentor engineers, and act as a technical reference for the platform domain.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of engineering experience with at least ~2 years in platform/SRE responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD tooling (GitLab, Argo CD).
- Proven knowledge of networking, IAM, security controls, databases (RDS/Aurora), and caching solutions.
- Experience with observability tooling (Datadog), DORA metrics, and running production on-call rotations.
- Good judgment for operational incident response and the ability to influence platform standards and developer workflows.
