Senior Software Engineer at ANNA Money

Responsibilities:
- Write production-quality code (primarily Python and TypeScript) focusing on defensive programming, resilience, and performance.
- Own technical solution design for major product features, modules, and initiatives from design through production.
- Collaborate with product, UX, mobile, and engineering teams to translate ambiguous requirements into robust solutions.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests; participate in CI/CD and continual delivery practices.
- Monitor and respond to incidents; lead troubleshooting and post-incident improvements.
- Contribute to planning, refinement, and technical prioritisation; mentor and coach other engineers.
- Drive improvements to platform tooling, observability, and developer experience.

Requirements:
- Extensive commercial software engineering experience (typically 7+ years) with a track record of delivering production systems.
- Strong skills in at least one major language (Python preferred) and familiarity with async frameworks, TypeScript/React, or Flutter/Dart.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL, message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ), Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, testing strategies, and performance tuning.
- Experience owning features end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
