Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security at Klaviyo

Responsibilities:
- Ship foundational infrastructure security services that enable engineers to build securely and quickly.
- Design and deliver highly available, scalable systems; identify and eliminate bottlenecks to increase throughput and efficiency.
- Prototype and advocate architectural improvements that reduce latency and operational cost.
- Champion best practices (defensive programming, config-as-code, application security) and lead design/code reviews.
- Mentor and pair with engineers to improve performance, self-healing behavior and security posture.
- Participate in on-call duties focused on prevention, recurrence elimination and reducing alert fatigue.

Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux, networking and cloud infrastructure in high-scale production environments.
- Proficiency in Python, Go or similar and experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and related data stores (MySQL, Redis, ClickHouse, etc.).
- Deep understanding of infrastructure security concepts (IAM, secrets management, service mesh, zero-trust) and observability.
- Proven track record leading significant technical projects and mentoring peers across teams.
- Excellent communication, system-design and operational excellence skills.
