Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java (Java 25) and Spring Boot.
- Lead greenfield development and evolve existing systems for card payments, treasury, transaction booking and crypto liquidity.
- Apply TDD, DDD and clean code practices to ensure maintainability and fast iteration.
- Collaborate with product, QA and operations to deliver features end-to-end and ensure production reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers and help improve engineering processes and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:
- Proven backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with relational databases (Postgres) and building RESTful microservices.
- Comfortable with TDD/DDD, CI/CD and delivering high-quality code in a fast-moving environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent English communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Experience building products at scale or in hypergrowth startup environments is preferred.
