(Senior) Software Engineer at Noon Academy

Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of code from design through delivery and observability; own operational responsibilities and participate in release/support rotations.
- Promote and apply best practices to reduce complexity and operational toil across systems.
- Identify bottlenecks, improve system efficiency, and deliver incremental improvements to platform and product teams.
- Collaborate across distributed teams to deliver customer-facing features used daily by students.

Requirements:
- Proficient in Java and Spring Boot (or equivalent frameworks).
- Experience with infrastructure and distributed systems, including containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and experience building scalable backend services is highly valued.
- Desirable skills: mobile app experience, Kafka, and enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
- Strong ownership, proactive problem solving, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
