Responsibilities:
- Design, build and operate backend systems that power real-time dispatch, trading and forecasting tools.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that ingest, process and serve large volumes of time-series energy data.
- Build and own critical systems such as billing engines, asset integrations (solar, wind, batteries) and analytics services.
- Ensure production reliability, monitoring, incident response and scalable infrastructure as volume grows.
- Drive technical direction: perform code reviews, mentor colleagues and contribute to architecture decisions.

Requirements:
- Significant experience shipping backend systems to production and owning end-to-end features.
- Experience with real-time data processing, scalable data pipelines and reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with Elixir/Phoenix is a plus; experience with TypeScript, Python and cloud platforms (GCP) is valuable.
- Knowledge of time-series and analytical storage (Postgres, TimeScaleDB, BigQuery) is beneficial.
- Strong ownership, pragmatic problem solving, focus on reliability and a willingness to learn the energy domain.
