Senior Vehicle Security Engineer (all genders) at MOIA GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Define cybersecurity concepts and system boundaries for autonomous vehicle features.
- Lead threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA) aligned with ISO/SAE 21434 and identify mitigations.
- Translate TARA outcomes into concrete security requirements, controls and acceptance criteria.
- Work with engineering and functional safety teams to integrate security into design, development and operations.
- Support compliance activities (documentation, audits, certification readiness) and maintain standards across projects.
- Participate in incident response planning, SLO/SLI definition and on-call rotations as needed.
- Mentor engineers, run technical reviews and advocate secure-by-design practices.

Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Physics or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Several years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or systems engineering, preferably in automotive/mobility domains.
- Practical experience with threat modeling, TARA and producing compliance-driven deliverables.
- Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434 and/or UNR 155 processes and secure design patterns for embedded/distributed systems.
- Knowledge of secure communications, authentication protocols and policy-driven access controls (RBAC/ABAC, OPA).
- Experience in incident response, risk mitigation and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills and business-level English. Diverse backgrounds are welcome.
