Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a high-quality, developer-friendly public API for travel distribution, search, and booking.
- Integrate and maintain connectors to many travel providers, handling varying protocols and edge cases.
- Build scalable backend services using Elixir/Phoenix, deploy on Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.
- Maintain strong test coverage, code quality, and observability for production systems.
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to drive product decisions and technical trade-offs.

Requirements:
- Strong engineering fundamentals with experience building backend services and APIs.
- Experience or willingness to work with Elixir and Phoenix; familiarity with Kubernetes and GCP preferred.
- Solid understanding of API design, reliability, and developer experience best practices.
- Good communication skills, ability to explain trade-offs and work collaboratively in a team.
- Bonus: prior experience in travel (airlines, hotels, cars) or integrating third-party providers.
