Responsibilities:
- Own the technical direction for a defined area of the OTPU hardware–software stack (pre‑silicon, post‑silicon, sustainment).
- Translate program priorities into executable plans; break down complex problems and drive delivery with engineering managers.
- Define and enforce engineering principles, interface contracts, and standards (firmware BSPs, validation methodology, interconnect interfaces, BMC design).
- Lead full lifecycle activities: emulation, bring‑up, characterization, post‑silicon debug, production reliability and field issue resolution.
- Make decisive architectural choices in your domain and align cross‑team dependencies through clear technical decisions.
- Raise team capability through code/design reviews, mentoring, and documentation of best practices.

Requirements:
- Proven track record delivering complex hardware–software systems (ASIC bring‑up, validation, firmware, interconnects or BMC platforms).
- Deep hands‑on experience with pre‑silicon emulation, post‑silicon debug, characterization, and sustainment engineering.
- Strong system architecture and engineering judgment; able to define interfaces and validation methodologies.
- Experience with observability, incident management, and maintaining production reliability for hardware systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence technical decisions and coordinate with adjacent teams.
