About the role
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement core distributed systems for AI voice agents that handle large call volumes.
- Rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship production-ready solutions for novel technical problems.
- Pair-program on-site in Berlin and deploy frequently without formal code reviews.
- Own projects end-to-end: define scope, implement, monitor, and optimize for performance and cost.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to maintain reliability, latency, and scalability targets.
Requirements:
- Strong Python fundamentals and hands-on experience building distributed systems at scale.
- Demonstrable founder-like initiative: startups, side projects, or solo builds that show ownership and delivery.
- High autonomy and bias for action; comfortable making decisions with limited process and ambiguity.
- Willingness to work 100% on-site in Berlin; relocation and visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
- Comfortable shipping to production on day one and operating in a high-velocity, high-trust environment.
