About the role

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to frontend components and backend services for AI-powered applications (production code).
- Assist in API (REST/GraphQL) development, database tasks and integration under senior guidance.
- Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Maintain documentation, improve developer tooling and support QA work for features.
- Learn by working alongside senior engineers on real deployments and pipelines.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a BSc or MSc in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- Solid programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/ReactJS; some practical web dev experience.
- Basic familiarity with REST APIs and SQL; exposure to ML frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn) is a plus.
- Curiosity about AI/ML deployment, eagerness to learn and ability to work ~20 hours/week.
- Good English communication skills; German is a plus.
