Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the dbt project end-to-end: transformations across Bronze/Silver/Gold, reusable macros and project conventions.
- Consolidate legacy pipelines into standardized, testable dbt flows and enforce transformation standards across teams.
- Design and implement canonical data model and semantic (Gold) layer that powers analytics and frontend consumers.
- Implement data quality: dbt tests, Great Expectations or Soda checks across Silver and Gold to prevent regressions.
- Define golden-record determination and conflict-resolution strategies for master/reference data.
- Deliver transformed data to consumers and integrate Gold layer with internal systems and frontend pipelines.

Requirements:
- 4–6 years as an Analytics/Data Engineer with expert-level dbt experience (models, macros, tests, project structure).
- SQL mastery: modeling, query optimization and understanding of engine-level performance factors (partitions, indexes, layout).
- Hands-on experience with data quality tooling (dbt tests, Great Expectations, Soda) and implementing validation strategies.
- Experience designing canonical/semantic layers, dimensional modeling and master/reference data management.
- Comfortable translating logic from Go/Python into efficient SQL and working with multiple data sources (RDBMS, S3).
- Bonus: experience owning data platform components or exposure to market data/fintech.
