Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans for backend systems: APIs, services and database interactions.
- Validate REST/GraphQL APIs using Postman, Swagger or similar tools; verify contracts and error handling.
- Test database queries, migrations and data integrity on PostgreSQL (SQL validation, edge cases, performance).
- Create and maintain automated test suites for integration and regression testing.
- Review pull requests for test coverage and collaborate with engineers on defect triage.
- Document and track test cases, results and defects using TestRail or equivalent test management tools.
- Participate in performance and reliability testing; contribute to infrastructure review and stability improvements.

Requirements:
- ~2–3 years experience in backend testing, QA or development-in-test roles.
- Hands-on with Node.js and TypeScript in backend contexts.
- Practical SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational DBs.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger) and automation frameworks.
- Experience with test management tools (TestRail) and CI/CD test integration.
- Attention to detail, good communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers to raise quality standards.
