Responsibilities:
- Define and scope analytics/AI tasks from ambiguous business questions, including hypotheses and success metrics.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and model development using ML and OR methods.
- Prototype and test Generative/Agentic AI applications where they provide clear value (copilots, assistants, workflows).
- Collaborate with Data/AI Engineering to productionize models and follow software engineering best practices (Git, testing, CI/CD).
- Own model validation, deployment support, monitoring and iterative improvement in cloud environments.
- Communicate results and technical trade-offs to stakeholders and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:
- Practical experience in data science or related role (2–5 years) with delivered projects or prototypes.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; experience with Spark or similar data platforms is a plus.
- Good foundations in statistics, ML and experimental thinking; familiarity with optimization/simulation is beneficial.
- Experience or exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and productionization practices (CI/CD, testing).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to work across product, engineering and business teams.
