About the role

Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve enterprise-wide scientific and business problems.
- Design, develop and deploy data science solutions and production models (from experimentation to operationalization).
- Build scalable ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines; harmonize and preprocess complex life‑sciences datasets.
- Use R, Python and SQL for data processing, analysis and automation; leverage ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Work with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, Spark, Databricks) and follow DevOps/version control practices (Git).
- Create visualizations, communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and support product development.
- Validate and monitor models, ensuring reproducibility, robustness and compliance with domain standards.

Requirements:
- Advanced degree + ~3 years relevant experience, or Bachelor's + ~5 years in data science or related field.
- Proven experience integrating and analyzing complex datasets, preferably in life sciences, biotech, biopharma, healthcare or lab environments.
- Advanced proficiency in R, Python and SQL; experience designing ETL/ELT workflows and scalable data models.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks, NLP/deep learning or generative AI is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms and scalable analytics tooling (AWS/Azure/Spark/Databricks) and Git-based workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate scientific/business problems into analytical solutions.
