Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product and business teams to identify high-impact opportunities for data science across the marketplace.
- Design, develop and deploy ML models and statistical methods for personalization, recommendation, marketplace optimisation and demand/supply forecasting.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable models, algorithms and data products; take end-to-end ownership from framing to impact evaluation.
- Design experimentation and measurement frameworks (A/B tests) to validate model impact and guide improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Product Analysts, ML Engineers and stakeholders to operationalise models and share best practices.

Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Econometrics or related field.
- Strong experience applying ML and statistical modelling to product/business problems (personalisation, marketplace optimisation or forecasting).
- Proficient in Python and SQL; experience with productionising models and working with engineering teams.
- Experience designing experiments and interpreting causal/AB test results.
- Strong problem-framing, communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to translate technical results for non-technical partners.
