Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a cross-functional product engineering team in a you-build-it-you-run-it environment.
- Start hands-on to learn the codebase: contribute to architecture, code reviews and complex problem-solving.
- Own delivery, performance and operational stability for your team’s products in a high-traffic B2C marketplace.
- Remove roadblocks, create transparency, align stakeholders and drive predictable delivery.
- Coach and mentor engineers to support their technical and career growth; promote best practices and quality.
- Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies to improve product value, scalability and maintainability.
- Contribute to organization-wide initiatives: raise engineering standards, refine guidelines and improve ways of working.
Requirements:
- Several years of software development experience and proven experience in an engineering management or tech lead role.
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams and delivering B2C, high-traffic web applications.
- Strong technical background with practical knowledge of TypeScript and frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue.js).
- Experience with backend technologies and integrations (Node.js and/or PHP), cloud services and scalable architectures.
- Familiar with CI/CD, observability, testing and operational practices for reliable production systems.
- Good communication skills in English; able to align stakeholders and collaborate across product, design and ops.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with people management and strategic priorities.
