Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end solution design for assigned cross-domain and global initiatives from requirements through go-live.
- Produce clear solution design documents and Architecture Decision Records that capture options, trade-offs, integrations and data flows.
- Define and specify non-functional requirements: availability, performance, recovery, security, retention and cost.
- Run architecture reviews, engage domain architects and ensure alignment with standards.
- Estimate design costs and validate high-risk choices with proofs of concept before handover to delivery.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned IT verticals on cross-domain initiatives and guide engineering teams during implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into buildable, costed technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years designing and delivering solutions across multiple technology domains.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and integration patterns (REST, gRPC, event-driven, versioning).
- Practical command of at least one modern language and ability to read Python, C#/.NET, TypeScript, Swift or Kotlin for design review.
- Solid understanding of AWS, containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD; AWS Associate (Professional preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Strong data architecture skills across SQL and NoSQL: schema design, complex queries, optimization and tuning.
- Excellent communicator able to explain technical trade-offs to diverse stakeholders; fluent in English (other languages advantageous).
