Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on hardware and firmware penetration testing on Qualcomm SoCs and chipsets in a lab environment.
- Design and execute Side-Channel Attack (SCA) and Fault Injection (FI) experiments on real silicon; collect and analyze traces.
- Evaluate hardware implementations of cryptographic primitives (AES, RSA, SHA, etc.) and identify practical weaknesses.
- Develop offensive tools, test scripts and repeatable methodologies to automate security evaluations.
- Analyze results, produce technical reports, and recommend mitigations and design hardening measures.
- Collaborate with global security labs and participate in certification or compliance activities (e.g., Common Criteria).

Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related technical field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience (level varies); hands-on FI or SCA experience is strongly preferred/essential.
- Strong understanding of microprocessor architecture, hardware crypto implementations and firmware security.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, C, MATLAB) and experience with signal/trace analysis, statistics or entropy analysis.
- Familiarity with test equipment and lab workflows for hardware security testing.
- Hacker mindset: curiosity, persistence, strong problem-solving and attention to experimental detail.
- Desirable: exposure to government certification frameworks, ASIC design or machine learning applied to side-channel analysis.
