About the role
Responsibilities:
- Operate and administer Jenkins as a production CI service: jobs, pipelines, plugins and system updates.
- Triage CI failures, investigate root causes and coordinate fixes with engineering teams.
- Manage agent lifecycle and capacity to support high-volume verification workloads.
- Improve CI signal reliability through monitoring, alerting and repeatable automation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling (Python/shell) to reduce manual work.
- Support cross-functional teams to stabilise pipelines and improve delivery processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–2 years experience in DevOps, CI/CD or software engineering environments.
- Hands-on Jenkins experience (pipeline/job config, plugin management) and Linux troubleshooting skills.
- Basic scripting ability (Python or shell) and familiarity with Git-based workflows.
- Understanding of CI concepts, build/test execution and infrastructure components (compute, storage, networking).
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills; experience supporting large-scale CI is a plus.
