Responsibilities:
- Own architecture, design, implementation and integration of substantial firmware features across SoC, board and platform layers.
- Lead SoC/platform bring-up, hardware/software integration, validation and resolution of system-level issues.
- Drive development of telemetry, diagnostics, logging, high-speed traces, profiling and platform services.
- Perform root-cause analysis using JTAG, traces, logs and instrumentation; define durable fixes.
- Improve observability, test automation, CI/CD and pre-/post-silicon validation practices.
- Lead design/code reviews, mentor engineers and coordinate with hardware, Linux/RTOS, security and validation teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS/CE/EE or equivalent and 8+ years in embedded firmware or low-level system software.
- Strong C/C++ skills and familiarity with scripting (Python/Bash).
- Experience with SoC architecture, device drivers, bootloaders, Linux and/or RTOS environments.
- Proven track record delivering complex firmware features through integration and validation.
- Proficiency with hardware debug tools (JTAG, trace, logic analyzers) and system bring-up.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting and mentoring skills.
